Our client a large blue chip multi National is looking for the services of an Area Maintenance Manager. This role will cover sites from Glasgow through to Edinburgh to North of Dundee down to the English Boarders covering 100 sites. The key elements to the role will be Plan Preventative Maintenance all reactive maintenance managing contractors on site strong focus on the Asset Management liaising with the main stake holders and managing a large varied multi site workload with relationship management of Regional Operations Managers Operation Managers Head Office Stakeholders and contractors whilst working closely within a team of 8 Area Maintenance Managers as well as linking into the North Area Maintenance team which will total a network of 27 Amms. The candidates must have the following Multi site planned maintenance management experience ideally over 100 sites Asset Renewal Management experience This is similar to a Facilities Management role so experience of facilities and maintenance is desirable Must be It literate they will be producing reports and inputting data into excel spreadsheets utilising formulas and pivot tables use of the Microsoft Office packages must be intermediate level. Budget Management Not essential but perferably have experience in Asbestos Fire Prevention Health & Safety Gas Safety regulations Electrical Safety regulations Property Law and Liabilities and managing issues i.e. checking if work on a property is our responsibility or the landlords etc. Supplier contractor direct management experience This is an analytical role as they will need to decide on the urgency of each work request issue and assess the work needed to resolve it.
