My client one of the leading project management companies in the Middle East are looking for a Senior Planning Engineer to be based in Qatar with an immediate start. The role will be to manage project schedule developments and maintenance whilst monitoring progress. You will be reporting to the support Project Manager and Project Control Manager to ensure in time completion of clients projects. The projects consist of mixed use developments which include a hotel community centre residential buildings apartment blocks office towers so a proven experience within this environment is essential. The desired candidate will have experience in the following Project Program Management Project Control Methodologies Statistical Control tools & techniques Project management control softwares such as Primavera Ms Project etc Earned Value Measurement Project Management Information Systems Project Risk Management Candidates must have a Graduate in engineering or construction management with 6-10 years in Project Engineering with at least 2-3 years in a Program Management role in a Project Control function within a medium to large Project Management company (Please note no Petrochem construction. Candidates must be certified in the discipline of Project Control with accreditations such as Pmp (Project Management Professional) or Prince 2. The ideal candidate will have the following or be able to demonstrate Interpersonal Skills Analytical and problem solving Attention to detail Creative thinking Drive for excellence Cross-cultural sensitivity Middle East experience is not necessary but working on projects abroad is essential.
